The glued butt joint gets the job done with less required skill and effort, but it runs against the aesthetic of quality construction and the hidden details that indicate it.

"Entertain me, gladiators", as he releases the shirts and the gang begins to claw at each other, throws money at the Emperor and tries to catch one of the elusive clothings. After the dust settles, the few lucky survivors are cheered on by the spectators, knowing they now own a future legend.
