Finn, Lori and I both cover our tattoos when we're at events with corporate brass. It's a pain in the ass, especially for her. I've been shocked hearing some people openly discuss how they feel about tattoos. I was at a lunch one time with a person that was trying to recruit me and our waitress had a couple of visible tattoos. The gentlemen proceeded to express how distasteful it was and that he couldn't believe this "fine" restaurant would allow a waitress like that. He further explained how he just doesn't get this whole "tattoo" thing, and really thinks people that get them are complete idiots. Needless to say, I declined his offer. Now, that I'm the executive of a small business, my people are very comfortable with tattoos. In fact, when we have events for our company, Lori and I don't cover our tattoos at all. I think it really depends, and this first event, I'd play it safe.

It makes me sick that people judge others based on personal decisions like whether they make body modifications. I remember the dude with the mohawk on the SpaceX team got all this attention. Why? Who the fuck cares? As long as you do your job and have decent hygiene and don't wear a banana hammock to work, I couldn't care less about your outward appearance.

Tattoos don't bother me, though I don't see many in my profession. I work in a fairly conservative field; lots of older, rural white dudes. If they have tats at all, they tend to be faded old military ones, or occasionally the prison variety.
I have to admit that I don't really like lots of piercings and gauges- they're distracting. Nothing against the people that have them, it just makes it harder for me to concentrate.
All that aside, I have to admit, I've teased my brother and one nephew for years over some of their less "cool" tattoos.

The fun thing about nipple piercings is you can thump them for amusement. They just LOVE it.

been there done that!
wore my JMC's and my white TWSH-01…was the perfect combo for 27 degrees+ weather and besides that everything was coveredthe "official" part of the summerevent was from 9am-3pm...after that i decided to skip the Wutang show in the evening and better spend the rest of the day with a bunch of cool and pretty chill (also tatted) work colleagues just to get to know them a bit better and all.
So after a few beers, we o/ course "talked ink" and since I felt pretty comfortable after a certain time, I went ahead and "answered" their questions on why I'm running around covered up the whole day...they took it with a smile
all is good now and we ended the day/nigth with having some great food, beer and vino...you can tell it got pretty late
and the decision to skip the wutang show was a great one. there's nothing better than to spend some quality time with some new colleagues/friends!

Shipping EMS to Canada costs us twice as much as shipping UPS Express, but it is something we are happy to do, just ask us at check out. I have said it before, but I will say it again, Canadian Customs are more venal than they would be in a country run by Atilla the Hun and his latest wife Lucrezia Borgia

Honestly, I prefer Quabaug which Whites use (surprise from the baldy fan boy), but I think aesthetically Cats Paws are really cool.
Mega, Quaboag is the name if my high school and I'm pretty sure the factory, Quaboag Rubber makes them. They also make Vibram soles.
