Tatman…
I think it's always so that the sender of mail must investigate/get the investigation going on where the heck the package went...I've encountered this same issue here in Finland...
Hope you get your boots...
Thanks IJ, and yes lofgren is filing an investigation on his side as well with Japan EMS post since (despite tracking info depicting the boots at Chicago ISC) usps is claiming they never left Japan.

A couple of things:
Those of you who work at UPS, are $44 dollars in brokerage fees normal on a $62 invoice?
Can someone in California quote me a shipping price, with tracking via USPS, for what amounts to be mesh shorts in a small envelope to Montreal. (A rough estimate of size and measurements may be applied.) I have someone telling me it will cost him 40 bucks to ship a parcel to me, which I am having a hard time believing since grandmasterben sent me a lightweight IH flannel for $5.
I wonder if it's all about the declared value and whether its sent as a gift?

You can go on usps.com and calculate the costs yourself, estimating size, weight, value and whatever extras you want to add in.

Much obliged.

If you can fit the item in the "small priority package", you can ship it overseas anywhere for 15 bucks which is a pretty damn good deal. A medium package and you're looking at about 45…

Inbound out of customs!! Looks like me boots are in their way!! Figured this was the problem. Gotta love snooty ass lazy usps workers though!
-
Mine are still there. Bastards! I'm out of town until Thursday at any rate. Hope they'll move soon.
-
Fingers crossed for ya man… Hopefully mine KEEP moving and nothing else happens. I'm not impressed with Chicago at all.... Wish all my packages cane through New York its akways much quicker in my experience.

-
Sweet only if they have a prominent LV branding. Wait, what am I saying, they're LV of course they will. How else would everyone know they were LV?

A heard a rumor the xhs denim is made by Big John. Maybe I'm late on this, but I just heard it through the grapevine last week.
I figured the experts might be able to verify if the rumor was correct. I really don't care that much either way, but like know as much as possible.
-
Maybe it was made in their factory but not necessarily their denim. I would think 25oz fabric would need specific machines to do the work and its quite possible only a handful have that particular machine. Im sure IH has things made in different factories for their capabilities. I of course am just speaking out of my ass but then again I tend to talk shit :-\ :-\

What's "Big John"?.. And no: I'm not Googl'ing that… Forget about it - I wouldn't be able to stomach some results this early in the morning...

It's a traditional japanese denim brand. Around since 1960 approx.
