Agreed. I'd go 10 or 10.5. I have Varvatos chukkas in size 12 and my size 11 Viberg Service Boots fit perfect.

You do realize that Viberg size in UK not US, so reading through what you said earlier youre typically a US11, which roughly translates to a UK10, or possibly 10.5.
Just wanted to point that out
going with the same NUMBER (no matter if US or UK sizing) works for a lot of folks (for me it does that perfectly!) and I was the one that told U&R to go with the same number…max. 0.5 down to a 10.5, but that's about it imo!...

All depends in how your foot is built and the last I sized down full size on 310 last and its still incredibly wide and a tad long to the point my engineers are unwearable. I would suggest if you have concerns do a tracing and a foam box print and send it in to have their help…. Even though I did that too and still didnt work. You definitely take a chance when trying to size the unknown without trying them on first.

TMG did that and Morgan told him to get an 11.5E. He came here and I told him to get a 10E. I was right….

if i would have gone for an UK 8, i would have to cut the toebox open to make them fit. so every foot behaves a bit different i'd say…no matter what, i hope that all are going to make the right choice and get what they've paid for in the end...and best in the right size

im narrow as well and morgan put me in a E. That being said my IHVB-03 requires a insole and thick socks and my engineer (as already noted) requires me to stuff all of my worldly possessions around my feet in order for them to stay on.

New to the forum (well, newly registered - lurked for a little bit) and just discovered this thread!
The boots are stunning - I'm well up for a pair if there's still time?
Anyway, I'm a little confused on sizing. I'm usually a UK 10 - my feet measure exactly 11" toe to heel. If I've got this right, I should be ordering a size 9.5. Can anyone confirm this? Also, I'm not sure what the D and E business is all about…
