      @mclaincausey:

      I bought an expensive item a week ago on eBay that still hasn't shipped. How long should I wait before escalating matters? I have sent two inquiries to the forum member/seller and received one "I'll shop it tomorrow" response from the first one.

      talking about the MFRC's mate?…I hope all goes well!

        I bought the Hope Diamond from a Chinese seller and they're giving me the run-around  😃

          Can I stack in the TW store? Just include a note in the order?

              I have stacked a TW using that method. Turns out those Gosport fecks are pretty helpful.

                Can anyone suggest a good high quality well made Henley that's lighter than the IH ones? Been looking at real McCoy double diamonds but BiG doesnt have my size unless they have a TON of stretch.

                      Merz is the shit. I can't wear really any of it because it's so small but it's super nice. I only see short sleeve stuff at Carters right now. You'll probably have to wait until the Fall/Winter lines drop.

                      Also, check out Wings + Horns or Reigning Champ.

                            Giles, I have some Cat's Paw half soles I offered for the cost of shipment to the forum a while back.  Offer still stands.

                            They are fecking huge though, would need to be cut down for anyone but Frankenstein.

                            PM me if interested.

                              See them on eBay a lot. I've heard you have to order a half size larger than normal, but who knows.

                                You might message Domingo at Vintage Engineer Blog as well. He's a really nice guy and tends to know where to find things like this in a jiffy. Also, Zip Stevenson has lots of this stuff around so might be worth inquiring with him as well though I know he just left for Japan a few days ago but will be back in a week or so.

                                if all else fails there is always the Ebay. I just hate the bay though and only use as a last resort

                                  While we're on the subject, what's the appeal of Cat's Paw soles?  Is it just a heritage appearance thing, or is there a noticeable improvement over, say, Vibram or Dainite?

                                      Honestly, I prefer Quabaug which Whites use (surprise from the baldy fan boy), but I think aesthetically Cats Paws are really cool.

                                        cats paw heel will not slip todd and its vintage inspired as cats paw and biltrite were rubber companies supporting shoemakers. some of the heels are repros but in some cases you will get a deadstock heel on to the boot if lucky 🙂 all personal taste mate  🙂
