If you're looking for suspenders then Morten of For Holding Up The Trousers does some very nice, albeit reassuringly expensive, examples. They're supplied with ceramic buttons, which will be useful if Giles offers the sewing service. 🙂

Okay here it is: a heavy duck vest with heavy melton lining in a functional box shape with big patch pockets and press stud buttons.  example http://ruzspeak.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/filson-cruiser-vest.png

Yeah it hasn't been done right yet and with the heavy duck and melton and press studs it would be a snap.  My issue in winter i need a functional body warmer to wear under a jacket, with pockets big enough to put a mini tablet in etc.

Cordovan, goat-stitched belt haunted my dreams last night. It had Chicago screws but by default came with that pewter buckle with the IH logo found on BC and MW embossed in it I mentioned here previously.

Could you get cordovan long enough?

There is such a thing as a cordovan belt but good point. Unsure if they're seamless.

Great idea. I regret missing out on the Ivory 56.

The fact that it went on special doesn't bode well for an immediate return, though.

Maybe an off-white/cream, organic cotton, TW western. I'm REALLY liking what we've seen from the TW's pipeline.

I'm thinking heavy weight flannel pajama bottoms.
