        The fit is good. Remember, this is STRAIGHT cut.

        You want slimmer, choose another cut.

        @Mild7:

        I'd bung an inch or so cuff on em and have another look.. Needs some settling below the knee, otherwise fine.

        @Arabit:

        Fit is excellent on you man!

        thanks a lot for your feedback guys. nope, i want the straight cut, but since this is my 1st straight cut i feel kinda weird at first.  😉

          Don't fear the 634S, it's a great cut, especially for boots. I prefer it to all my other jeans in that regard.

          Think it, be it.

            Please keep them!!! They look great, if you do not feel the cut, sell em and buy another cut.

              That fit is awesome man. Even though I'm partial to slim fits I would kill to have some 634s that fit like that!

                    Michael123, you should size down one. I had the same kind of fit with my old Triple Works jeans. I eventually sold them because they were too big in the top block and thigh. Looks like a size down would fit you way better.

                        Hi all,

                        I'm loving my 666Ls (my first pair of Iron Heart jeans) so much that I have decided to get rid of my RRLs and buy a second pair of IH. Want something a little different, a little darker, and I want to try out some heavier denim so the 634s sound pretty good. Unfortunately I cannot try a pair on in the flesh so was hoping you guys could help with a question on fit.

                        My 666Ls are a 34 and feel great (one soak, zero washes and only worn a few times) but they are about as slim in the thigh as I could comfortably go (historically I have had to size up in the waist to get a thigh that fits). Looking at the sizes for the 634s I'm wondering if I should stick with 34 or go 33 and let the waist stretch out a bit. The waist on my 666Ls is snug but I conscious it won't have had much chance to stretch out yet.

                        Is there anyone with experience of both who can help me out here?

                        Thanks,

                        Matt

                          I wear same tag size in 666 and 634 - but fit is TOTALLY different - 666 lower rise and fitted thighs, 634 is designed to be looser/roomier… slim cut vs. straight cut.  It's like comparing apples and oranges.  I think generally you could go same size in both and be very satisfied - but everybody is different and depends on what you're trying to achieve.

                            Thanks Bluegrass. All I'm trying to ensure is the best possible fit on the 634s. I understand it will be a different fit than the 666L but I was trying to establish if someone who wears a 34 in the 666L should wear a 34 in the 634s.

                                Well that's someone who wears the same size in both and the man who knows saying wearing the same size in both. Which is why I just put in my order for a 34 waist.

                                  I'm sure there are other opinions, but I expect you will like it.  All things considered, I personally find the 634 the most comfortable and versatile of the bunch.  I now have this cut in 3 different denims, 18oz, 21oz and 23oz.  And I'll eventually have the 25oz too.

                                    Agreed, the 634 cut is really special- I have the 18 oz Vulcans, and the 634S, and I'm really hoping that the powers that be will re-release the 23 oz cut.  I'd love to grab a pair of those.  I'm already amazed at how different the 18 oz and 21 oz denims are…
