GORUCK Challenge
-
thanks Monday, kinda feeling like King Kong Bundy after hitting the scale this morning, need to jog more I think?
I always try to remind myself that weight isn't really everything and the way you feel and the way your clothes are fitting etc is much more important. Along those lines, things are going well out here in CO, but dropping 20 or so is really not as easy as it use to be that much I am certain of…
Doug, you take your "girls" to the range? People give me some pretty dirty looks when I take Ryder

Anybody get to the point where they've burned out yet? Every three months, I take a week off to recharge the battery
I used to work out six or seven days a week, long hard workouts. Then I started to notice that I would either plateau, backslide, or get a cold out of nowhere. I was pushing my body too hard and my body pushed back
Taking a week off also helps prevent injuries from overtraining. I just took a week off a few weeks back
Z: Jody comes with me 50% of the time. She's a pretty good shot, and if anyone gave a dirty look at her at the range because she's a woman with a gun, she'd probably leave a ring shaped burn mark on them
-
No no, bad attempt at humor that didn't convey…awesome that Jody goes to the range with you man!
-

Yeah, Doug made a good call on the DDP/Skogg combo. Those really compliment one another well. Thanks for that, Doug.
(And thanks for the Tiger Balm suggestion, too- my wife just laughed when I said I was going out to buy some, since her mother apparently used it for everything; aches, pains, sprains, hangnails, warts, indigestion, whatever…)
