Last night, four of us went to try out a new Taverna my father had spotted earlier in the week.  It was musically noisy and boisterous in a way only the Greeks can do.  Here is the source of the noise….

We had starters, mains, pudding, plus loads of beer, loads of wine (both colours) and loads of Raki (plain and honey infused).  Bill for the four of us was Euro47  (USD61)…...We are going back tonight...

Visited this steam powered mill last week. Amazing place still running running over 300 original Victorian narrow shuttle looms by steam power! These are the sort of looms denim was made on in the 1800's. Well worth a visit if you're ever in Northern England.
