Completely agree… My package has sat in Kansas City, KS for the last 3 days. I figured surely it would be delivered this morning and this must just be an electronic error. I have all my packages delivered to my business... So I head up to the shop and about 5 minutes after getting there I see our usual mail carrier as she drives right by. I go out to check if she maybe missed something... Nope. Two things to this I don't understand.
- normally all east coast packages come through Columbia, MO to sedalia, MO (at least for me) why ship it nearly 200 miles further than its destination?
- why, for the love of God, has that package been sitting in KC for 3 days??
... Truthfully I know why, Anything associated with or ran by the United States Government is garbage, but I'm venting. There is so much inconsistency with these morons it infuriates me to the point of seeing red.

This morning my tracking indicates my package has shipped to Columbia Missouri now…. Which means the mail truck would have to have driven through sedalia (where i live) and Completely by passed the post office here on the way. Never again.

I don't see what the fucking problem is with USPS. My local post office is great. I just sent a priority package to Summerhays and it arrived in 2 days, just like every other priority package I send. As for express, it's almost always 1 business day. Your IH stuff comes quickly from Gosport because Giles' pays for it through UPS. It's not cheap.

As I stated, the problem is I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER A WEEK FOR A PRIORITY PACKAGE FROM FLORIDA THAT'S BEING BOUNCED AROUND MY STATE. That's not a great experience as far as I'm concerned and I will never consider it satisfactory.
I'm glad your usps is great however just because your experiences are always "perfect" doesn't mean everyone's is… In fact, I have a business and have problems more often than I don't with them which is why I have such an issue. It's not just a one time thing its nearly every single time I have to use them things get screwed up. Furthermore, I clearly understand the difference in the two shipping systems and prefer UPS and use it whenever I can.

I have a brilliant postman who will chase me from place to place in Gosport, that does not a great postal service make.
We use UPS because our volumes are so large we get extraordinary pricing. I am in the process of negotiating the same inbound rates as outbound. Once we do this, we will integrate a returns systems into the website. If you need to return or send something to us, you will be able to use our account, create labels etc and get our rates….

I believe there's another element to why the UPS gets here so quickly. Whether it's because Giles is running shipments through a business or through UPS, the things seem to breeze through customs way faster than private shipments using other couriers.

There is zero consistency with USPS. Some post offices are great, some are awful. Some are both depending on the day
My local one is a pit. The place is in total disarray, the employees couldn't give a shit about the customers. If they see that the line is ten people in, they'll walk away to go on break and leave it to the newest employee to deal with the line. The local post office I had back in NY was fantastic
Also, depending on the day, I have a fantastic mailman, or a complete moron. One guy somehow magically knows which packages have high value items in the box, the other guy will jam as much stuff into my mailbox that I can't open it. I wind up leaving a note saying "You have the box full to the point I can't turn the key to open it, please pull out all my mail from the backend and leave it on my doorstep"
Back in NY, we used to have a postman that must've been partially blind. We'd see our neighbors exchanging packages all the time (myself included) because he would constantly get the addresses mixed up. At one point, I would universally avoid USPS for shipping packages to me

sorry, rant off but it really pissed me off sometime that I am literally always one size to big in shoes or boots or an inseam or shirt sleeve is just barely too short. Feck all -
Feel your pain, TMT. At least when I was morbidly obese I could lose weight.

£99 fucking customs charge for a shirt, a couple of tee's and a keyring. Done on the ass again by HMC, and not even the common decency to offer me a "reach around"

im "only" 6'3" but all torso so shirts a bitch
and size 13.5 is my ideal shoe size (which doesnt exsist in most brands) -

just spent half an hour waiting for my appointment
got in there and the specialist says to me "your robs friend right"
my good friend is a nurse and assists this doctor in surgery
and im like yep . my friend has told the doctor about the seriousness of my injury
so the doc pulls up the same xrays he looked at 3 months ago and says "see this pocket of missing cartilage? im worried about that, it appears you have a torn ligament"
this same doctor looking at the same x rays 3 months ago said that missing cartilage is nothing it just means you'll have arthritis when ypour older
so now in a month ish ill get a mri and god only knows when they will probably operate
talk about getting the run around!
