Got my Samurai S0553XX today. Bought from Yuichi, the last size 44 Samurai had in their stock.
The one-wash treatment was pretty harsh to the leather patch. The denim looks fine though

15oz Texas Cotton like on the 0500. And yes, the fit is as it should be (also if pretty slim for a 44).

No, not at all. It has a totall different feel like the other patches (it's like on my 2nd Bag). Although I oiled it and didn't soak overly hot it started cracking. So I gave it a super treatment of boot oil and mink oil, causing the dark colour. Well, that's evo I suppose.
