Giles, I love Spotify!!! I use it constantly. Bands get paid every time someone listens, maybe even searches for them…tiny tiny amount but that is the short version of it. If I find something I really dig, I'll then go on to buy the album, for a couple reasons, one of which is supporting the artist.
FWIW all the futurebirds albums are also available through Spotify as well.
