Thoughts on the length of this?  I go back and forth on whether its too short or not.

It's an XXL, but has shrunk down a half size after 3 washes. Sizing is:
      Chest-23.5
      Shoulders-19.0
      Length-29.0
      Sleeve-26.0
      Hem-22.4

I agree, it's borderline, but I'd consider it acceptably long.

I wish I had your problem Mike.  Everything is ripe cherry except the front length, which is a tart cherry.  But I agree with Chris that it is totally acceptable.  Consider yourself fortunate, I have never seen my pockets while wearing an IHSH.

Borderline on the front, perfect on the back. Nowt to worry.

Exactly what I thought. Since its shorter in the front, I usually wear the IHSH-61 or IHSW-05 over it. Fabric is fucking amazing though, just ask Qinhan.

Length looks great to me.  Fine at the back and it's reaching below your belt on the front.  I wouldn't be stressing.

                  And yes, fabric is amazing.

                              Quinhan,

Wanted to sport the rolled up sleeve look like you.  How in the world did you roll up your sleeves and wear them around elbows length?

When I try, it's to the point where it cuts circulation and after an a couple hours I've got deep red marks on my arms.

Rick Grimes wears a shirt like this in The Walking Dead season 3.

There's nothing like this material, so thick, tough, and still crunchy after many washes.

It can be a little difficult to do the roll up sometimes, but with all the cuff and sleeve snaps undone I can usually manage it.  Only thing I can think of is that maybe your forearms are proportionally bigger than mine?

                                  @Giles:

It could be.  It is one of those frustrating situations, Haraki only knows it as Westpoint and I can't find out exactly what Westpoint is….

If I had to take a SWAG, I'd guess Cramerton twill. This was an old US Army cotton twill, and "West Point" is the US Army's military college.

                                  Think it, be it.

More 56 love in the house!  When this khaki came up for a bargainous price in B&S, I just had to add it to the black I already own.  This shirt in an L is just the perfect size for me…

Okay, so I know that these are one-washed – and are expected to have minimal, if any, shrinkage -- but has anyone tried to shrink one down a tad?

I picked up two 82s (http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=4986.msg270887#msg270887) and they are ~.5 inch too big through the chest.  I am floored by this fabric, though, and don't want to send them back.  Pictures DO NOT do the Westpoint Cotton justice.  I can't believe these went on sale.  The only reason I can justify is sizing confusion because this fabric is sic!

Anyway, has anyone tried shrinking these down at all?  I'm thinking a hot wash may get me where I need to be, but I'm reluctant to throw them in the machine if it just isn't possible (warping graphics worries me, also).  Thank you in advance, my fellow IH fanatics.
