Rough out is just as durable as smooth leather, some would even say more so.  Not sure about how to clean it; I've heard mixed things.

Chris speaketh the truth, RO is also more self-healing than most smooth leather (scars, etc…)

i´d do it, but i´d do it the way that one post per contestant only...and just with a few "standard" pics...like you guys would send me your specs and pics and i´d post´em in the thread all at once, so that we have a nice list of pics and all that...but sorted!
