Rough out is just as durable as smooth leather, some would even say more so.  Not sure about how to clean it; I've heard mixed things.

i already knew that they would going to be awesome from the pics, but really wasn´t aware that they would be that brilliant, like 1000times better IRL!
and the smell of that horse is just unbelievable
