Due to my very high instep, the left boot takes me about 10 minutes, and a lot of swearing, to put on, the right boot is fine.
I think that my left foot must have a higher instep than my right. Any suggestions to make this easier? Once the boot is actually on it feels perfect.

Truth, I was considering slicing the sides of the tongue away with a scalpel, is this crazy?

I'm sure you tried a shoe horn, right? I have a similar problem and thin metal shoe horn does the trick for me.

Cheers guys, as I say it is just hard to get them on, once on they are perfect. I'm going to go with daily wear, and the struggle and stretch method for a few weeks I think.

what comes to mind if it really stretches is to use very thin plastic bag over your foot while you put the boot on. When the boot is on, just tear the plastic bag off….
And piss in the bag…

I would keep a goldfish in the bag as well.

Of course. That goldfish needs something to take the edge off being trapped in a bag with piss soaked feet.
