Here's a couple pics of my recently acquired 16. Not really sure why I thought this shirt would be softer, but it's not! It's so stiff. I reckon it will break in nicely… eventually   My wife says it feels like a tarp... I am ignoring her!!

The 16 is a beast and one of my all time favorites!  You're lucky to have gotten your hands on a red one.

Looking good.  These chambrays are tough to break.
After the khaki, go for the off-white one version, but they are really tough to find.
If you are living in a colder climate, consider the quilt-lined version (IHSH-17).  But you may need to size up, because of the internal volumn may be a little smaller given it is quilt-lined.  Good luck.

These are still my favorite IH westerns.  Mine remain stiff after a lot of wear for 1.5 years.
