Giles can I have an updated measurements of the current run of jeans? Im looking at the tagged size 31. And how.much stretch can I be expecting out of the waist and thigh respectively?

from my experience the stretch should be about 1" out of the waist and 0.5" out of the thighs!

Nice shot! I've been wearing mine this weekend and have to say I like the fit better and better. Has anybody washed or soaked it and gotten some shrinkage in the inseam?

I just soaked mine and have to send them for hemming. The waist is tighter now but the inseam is still too long.

Finn666, would you please post a pic showing that "hemmed to perfection" pants? Just for taking notes, you know.

Anesthetist, are those really 555-03? Mine don't have a yellow stitching.

this denim is really something special. after a few months of wear (2-3 I think!) it's really coming alive and the grey is popping up everywhere!

Finn, these will def shrink like an inch over time, in the inseam.  Sanforized denim shrinks 1%-3%. It's a twill weave, all twill weaves shrink to some degree.

Quick noob question: I just call The Works to arrange the hem-job and a very helpful lady asked me if I rather prefer chain-stitching or some other option I didn't quite get (sorry but I still have to work on my Japanese stitching lingo) which is more resistant according to her.

Does the chain-stitching have any particular advantage? Shall I go with the other option instead?

                                          Thanks in advance.
