Samurai Jeans

My 1st pair of Samurai; Sam S710xx size 31, i should have size down 2 instead of 1. some fit pics after 2 hours boiling hot soak and hem shortened by 6 inches at Railcar. do you guys think this will shrink more if i do another hot soak?

Do a soak with some agitation. Turn the jeans inside out first. No need to go boiling hot, just as hot as your tap will go. Hang dry. That should do it.

Another soak or gentle wash might give you extra shrinkage, but not that much. Turning inside out in not necessary when you soak, but when you wash. Enjoy them!

I've had a ton of shrinkage in my jp003-a after nearly boiling hot soak. I'm my experience the hotter the better, hasn't done any damage or anything whatsoever

Samurai is getting two 15th anniversary models ready. 25oz. Reminds me of another brand… whose initals start with I and end with H.

I'm with you. The 25oz. Is nice, but it's kinda novelty. I've settled back to just wanting 14-18oz. Denim.

With the IH 25 oz models, I've developed an addiction for 25oz fabric. I hardly ever wear anything else. The first pair I bought has become soft and nicely aged. I remember quite fondly the Samurais I got when I started buying Japanese jeans. So I think I'll get a pair of those, in a loose fitting size rather than my real size, though.
