Samurai is getting two 15th anniversary models ready. 25oz. Reminds me of another brand… whose initals start with I and end with H.
In any case, the jeans look badass.

Maybe the source from the same mill? Giles would most likely know about it. But the the Samurai one is unsanforized AFAIK

I'm going to concentrate on other brands and more "regular" denim in the future -
UES or Real McCoys in April and later this year a pair of Eternal. So denim in the 14-15oz range

With the IH 25 oz models, I've developed an addiction for 25oz fabric. I hardly ever wear anything else. The first pair I bought has become soft and nicely aged. I remember quite fondly the Samurais I got when I started buying Japanese jeans. So I think I'll get a pair of those, in a loose fitting size rather than my real size, though.

True, you just collect loads of beautiful jeans and hide them away. Some day I'm going to sneak into Germany and raid your closet. Just to liberate all that unfairly imprisoned denim…

Same here… Anything heavy just fails compared to the IH 25 oz... Personal preference, of course...
