Random Rants

I won't suggest 1000 RAC005's are made, but hey you never know what could be done with it ;).
Aside, I'm also itching for coasters. added/double aside, I have a SDA denim banner up in the house, and would likely purchase a IH banner, those things are a work of art….
Triple whilst here, should this not be in Ideas for Hakari-san???

This is the issue. The looms being at the limit of possibility stop mid weave randomly, this results in a stuttered re-start. The next few throws of the shuttle resultes in uneven weft lay down. So we have a band of imperfection running across the cloth. It is not a good look to utilise in anything. So we have to cut the patterns out around these bands of imperfection. That is what we are doing with the MBB's at the moment. To be honest haraki and I do not know what the impact on MBB delivery will be. Haraki understands the importance of the MBB issue and will be in the factories the minute his arse lands back in Japan assessing where we are.
As an aside, we get a constant 20% bad fabric when weaving the 21oz.

is it normal in life that there comes a time where you just question EVERYTHING?
atm i just want to breakout, live a happy life without any constraints or thoughts about what needs to happen next! :-\
Just read that and feel exactly the same at the moment. The good part is, as I take it, you're at the beginning of a new phase in your life, so you can take the right steps now. It's always harder to escape from settled situations like work, residence, relationship etc. And I am just at the beginning of realizing how problems in these items can cause even physical problems. Or at least I think so. :-\

keep your head up Flo (that's what I did for now!) there are always greater times ahead off you!
feel free to pm if you want to chat a bit mate! but you're right about my situation…I have my last exam next wednesday so whatever the outcome is, I'm going to move to another level of life. just unsure where it's gonna take me...so after I'm done with focussing on my studies, I'm sure these thoughts I had a few days back are going to come again! so let's wait and see...

Speaking as an older guy, can I give you younger guys a small piece of advice? Take some of the huge wads of cash that you spend of clothes, and instead spend it on seeing the world while your still young, and before you have marriage and kids. Now is your time fellas, and it is a big and amazing planet, go take a look at it. I guarantee that it will help you with your feelings, and answer at least some your questions.

I totally back up Mega's advice. I don't have kids and am not quite as old (I'm 31) but I do wish that I'd got out into the wide world a little more and gone travelling for months on end before getting into serious work. There's a whole lifetime to cop jawns but the same does not apply to the freedom of choice you might have when you're younger.
That said, some decisions you cannot put off. Never wise to try and 'escape' rather than confront issues in my experience.
All best wishes.

I'll third that advice. See the world. Take some chances. Try working for yourself. Try to move to another country.

When I in my early 20s, I dropped out of college for a number of reasons, most of them stupid. I then spent a few years working and becoming steadily more and more unhappy with my life. I eventually decided to move 2000 miles away and finish college in a place where I knew no one and could have a fresh start. It was, without question, the best thing I have ever done, and all that my life is now is a result of that choice.
I was feeling trapped in my life and the decision to get away and forge a new direction was an incredible opportunity for me to grow and become a happier, better person. If you're similarly discontented with your life, then I strongly agree with the above recommendations to break out and go someplace different for a while. A change in scenery does wonders for your sense of perspective.
-
That is unfortunate. I'm sure it will get there soon, though.

Just read through the few posts ahead of mine and had to add that–and I'm not saying anyone of you is suffering from this particular disease, if you want to call it that--depression is not something to play around with and is definitely something to watch out for. (Speaking from experience, it can literally take control of your life.) Do the things that feel right and never feel ashamed, scared or embarrassed to reach out for help.
As for spending senselessly, I can always count on MadMonday to kick a little bit of reality into me. Dude's brutally honest, but he spits that real talk.

Ever have one of those days where everything you say comes across wrong, or is taken the wrong way/ not as you intended? That's me today…... time to go back to bed (at 5:15pm)
