So I am at home visiting my parents and my Mom starts inching her way toward me with scissors in her hand.  She then makes a sneaky move to cut off what she called the "silly-looking string hanging down off the side of your shirt" (actually the chain stitch run-off on my red corduroy IH shirt).  So I had to dispossess my 80 year mother of her sharp-edged weapon…

There's a St. Giles hotel near Feltham station, is that the one you mean? If so, it's not too far from where I work.

Random: was just checking the list of companies that still do tests on animals (or are still on Peta's list), and I might have to look into an alternative for my toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream and razor blades…

I volunteered for pharmaceutical testing when I was newly graduated and in need of some quick cash. Sat in a ward for three days watching Jim Carey movies and took a pill or two. All for the price of a pair of IH jeans. Alright!

God knows there's an endless supply.  And folks would get a lot less upset if pharmaceutical companies were drug testing on Snooki and The Situation than some helpless little bunny.
