        @Matt:

        I love my BBs and I love my 25oz so this would be a no brainer for me if I hadn't already bit on the 21/23oz.  You should buy these.

        March 1 is no problem.  I have no intentions of winning a belt, I just don't wear anything that hard, but I'm more than happy to throw in my share.

        so matt, what is your weapon choice?

                        so if LN roles with the 25, I think I have to get my ass into the 17-21 category 😛

                          **I know we said that contributions were voluntary, but 76 contestants and only 7 contributions, damn.

                          We need to at least cover the cost of the Championship Belts, and I was hoping to get a contribution towards some of the events, and the costs that we have paid out already.

                          I argued against myself to charge a compulsory $10 for entry, maybe I was wrong.

                          What are everyones opinions on contributing, should we have made the competition smaller so it didn't need funding? Should there have been a $10 charge?**

                              I'm startled by this (that is the polite version) .  My personal opinion is that if the contestants want all take and no give, then it should be compulsory.  Come on people, this is not a one-way street….Gavin and Beats are working their arses off for you, please show some common courtesy and respect

                                  and yeah, I really don't see any problems on "paying" 10$ or a bit more for this. should at least cover all the costs and your effort to get and keep this rolling! just my 2cents though…

                                    To be honest, like anyone I know things are tight for people at the moment, and Christmas maybe isn't the best timing for this. I had thought that maybe half of the contestants might not contribute in any way, but the current ratio is pretty bad.

                                    To give it some perspective, in the last tournament every person contributed towards the Championship belt from Obbigood, I didn't expect that this time as the competition is far bigger, but I also didn't expect to be funding several hundred pounds of this myself.

                                      Rafa, the "themed challenges" are the updates for the forums. The website will be set up with a monthly update feature, so we will know exactly who has done what and when.

                                      Also, this time we have a proper database for contestant entries, which I have spent most of my Christmas keeping up to date with entries, there is absolutely no prospect of this becoming messy at all, trust me. Many lessons have been learned from HWDC1, I just don't see the need to tell everyone about the "behind the stage" stuff we're doing.
