My in-laws mean well, but holy shit, everything with them is one giant cluster fuck.

On the plus side, Southwest ruined one of our suitcases, so they gave us a surprisingly decent replacement duffel bag and a $100 travel voucher.

Can't sleep. Visited a flat yesterday. Going back there in the afternoon. Might take an option on it. That 30 m2 balcony… Cheap and well isolated. Huge livingroom. At a quiet location yet right in the centre. Five minute walk to work. And a nice bar round the corner. Available from March 1 so ample time to save more money and get rid of as much clutter as possible...

I think you should take a picture of your "used to" background. Then have it blown up, printed on vinyl, and hang it as your backdrop on your new balcony, to really ease us into this…

Pam was taken into hospital last night with abdominal pains, just waiting for results of her tests, so I probably won't be around much today.
