      @MikeC:

      Little Bro will be there, just saying…

      We only actually only see each other for one night, so my body is reasonably safe.  Though the "Swiss Family Hatt" are there, which is dangerous…..

                          Gotta ask (because it will bug me), why Haneda and not Narita? I thought Haneda was mainly domestic, and Asian flights.

                            There was only air mile availability into Haneda….That's the simple answer.....

                                  So, we arrived very early and went walkies.

                                  The sort of surreal scene you see on a Tokyo street.  Goat in kennel, whilst serious film shoot takes place…

                                  Want to vend a banana?

                                  Then to Tokyo Hands - famous homeware department store.  These 2 guys are so wrong on so many levels…

                                  Then we bumped into The Swiss Family Hatt…

                                    I'm following this thread very closely! I love Japan. The best (strangest) thing I ever saw in a vending machine in Japan was a can of creamed corn. Would you like that hot or cold? 😛

                                      I'll be making my first trip to Japan next month, and will be on the lookout for (a) unusual vending machines, (b) fancy toilets, and © women dressed as schoolgirls.

                                        Also, go to Venus Fort on Odaiba Island in Tokyo bay, and marvel at the indoor recreation of neo-classical Europe.

                                          Sounds like something perfectly Japanese - I'll make an effort to get there thanks!
