Horse oil has very similar properties to human oils. It has the highest permeability (very fine oil, this is what makes it great for leather protection) of all oils on human skin (probably besides human oils, unobtainable unless you have serious cash)
Have you priced human oils? How much are we talking here? I'm asking…for ah......friend.

I really love Meyer's hat shop. It's been in New Orleans for over a hundred years, and is still ran by the third generation grandson whose been in charge for over 60 of 'em. It's quite a unique place and I love his wife, who fitted my giant bucket with some great lids. If you're the hat wearing type, you'll go nuts.
If you're a drinking man, call to find out when master bartender Chris McMillian is on duty at the Renaissance Pere Marquette Hotel (Common Street in the Central Business District – just a block or so uptown of Canal Street). Chris is a great bartender and a living encyclopedia of cocktail lore. He also makes the city's best Mint Julep, and a perfect Ramos Gin Fizz. I'm a bit partial to the sazerac, and I've heard Chris Hannah makes a beautiful one at Arnaud's 75 Bar (next door to Arnaud's restaurant, French Quarter). If I was going tomorrow, I'd be at both of these bars :-p
