WTF, D666 just answered the same question on the same fucking page. If your on this forum, you can obviously read English, so start putting your reading skills to the test.

The denim looks great and I really like the patch design on this pair. Very cool. 🙂

My pair did shrink about 0.5" after I gave them a hot soak for approximately 1 hour.  Sized the same as my other 634's – 34.

          Read 'em and weep.

My reading skills are just fine. I read the measurements comparing the 634s, 634s-B, 634-XHS, and then these 23oz jeans. You'll see there are slight variations (even between SE and IH websites). According to the measurements posted on SE's website, it seemed like I'd fit better into a size smaller with the 23oz. I wanted to make sure (straight from the source) that the fitment is identical to my 634s-B before ordering. The cut may be the same, but the sizing may have been different. There could also have been variations due to the denim weight. The point is, I wanted to be absolutely sure before blindly ordering them. Both D666 and Jestre answered that question. Thanks, D666! Awesome fit pics, Jestre. Hopefully, by next week, I'll be able to post a set of my own. With the current riding season coming to an end, I was thinking about using the these for the HWDC.

Please read the "How We Measure Our Shirts and Jeans" link directly underneath the measurements table on the SE website.  SE does not use the same method as IHUK & IHJP.  I recommend calling one of their stores to double-check specific measurements for the size you want.

No biggie. I can take a few insults.  😉 I just wanted to clarify why I asked a question that seemed to have been answered already. I'm not patient enough to wait for SENY to reopen since no one knows when the power will be restored and flooding completely cleared to downtown Manhattan.

I will probably do that before placing my order. Measure twice, cut once.

Thanks all.  Gotta love the first week with a pair of serious jeans.  They don't even feel like something you should have on your legs… and then the magic happens.

Personally, although I love to have well-worn and faded jeans, the first 4-6 weeks of wear are the most fun for me. That's when you discover how the denim will behave, and whether the fit is really gonna work. And when the first signs of fading appear around the pockets and the knees (or apparently near the dick in Seul's case) it's an exhilarating feeling that justifies the addiction.

                                    Fuck I'm poetic today.  😛

Yeah those first weeks are fun… But seriously, after a year (exactly today!) of wearing my 25 oz. 666-XHS'es, I prefer how they feel and behave these days!.. I can actually go down stairs and tie my shoes!..

I hear you! First few times I put boots on in my 634S on I needed my fly unbuttoned.

Just to dispel a myth about this denim, it stretches quite well. I really struggled to do mine up when I first got them, but now they are extremely comfortable.
