Why did I just read all posts… Why am I thinking about these... Why do I keep thinking about these…

Thinking about going with a sz. 32 (read as: if I can come up with the $$$) and hotsoak whilst wearing them in order to prevent the waist from shrinking... Then after they've stretched, a second soak... Can I expect:

• 1" stretch in the waist (assuming so)?..
• a max of 1" shrinkage lengthwise?.. I'd like to get them hemmed before soaking them... G: if I remember correctly you always add 1" to your usual length for raw jeans pre-soak (cause I know you hem before soaking)?..

For your reference, in case you give in to temptation, go the same as your 666XHS size (I can't remember if you're 32 or 33 there). That's what I did, and it's working out very nicely.

My waist 35 Vulcans are essentially the same cut as my waist 36 666D. You get the picture. Also, I use my 666D as my golden cut. The duck doesn't stretch much and every size is perfect on them.

Rafa, the waist 35 is pretty much made for me and you. I have very similar legs to you. This cut is between your 634S-Raw and your 555-03. Plus, it's waist 35!!!!!

I got 2in shrink out of the inseam, but I hand agitated like crazy on both hot soaks. The first hot soak/hand agitation definitely didn't get all the shrink out, but I think the second one did.  The area around the fly and including the fly didn't shrink at all really on the first soak but shrunk a bit on the second, once I paid attention to the area.  If I didn't get that shrink out, my whiskers would have looked like I sized up 2.
