As one of the designers of these jeans, I'm really pleased that folks are enjoying them past the original intention of them, which was to provide a pair of jeans that would remove some of the need to wear a toolbelt or bring your tools in both hands, under your armpits, and in your mouth. These jeans have really exceeded expectations. Haraki himself said in his blog that he was very proud of this offshore designed item

Only 1 day of wear on these, so everything is still settling.

As said before, LOVE the fit but wonder if it's really part of the 634 family. Perhaps it should simply be the IH Vulcan?

Having had the chance to try these on in Gosport, they felt great - amazing feel to the denim, and for someone with 'rugby player' legs the cut is very good. Unless some W38 IH cords make an appearance in the next few months, these'll be my next jeans

I love these jeans. I did a 2nd soak, to ensure all shrinkage was out. They def shrunk a tiny bit more. I agitated by hand, both times. They are now a perfect fit. Pics will follow soon, they just need to settle for a couple days.

Thanks man. I didn't bother with a 2nd soak because I'm happy with where they're at now. If they shrink a bit in the wash at some point, so be it.

Here are my post soak (2 hot ones) measurements on a waist 35 that was hemmed to 34. All measurements were exactly per the website prior to soak:
Waist-34.5
Fr Rise-10.25
Rear Rise-15.25
Thigh-12.8
Knee-9.2

Why did I just read all posts… Why am I thinking about these... Why do I keep thinking about these…

Thinking about going with a sz. 32 (read as: if I can come up with the $$$) and hotsoak whilst wearing them in order to prevent the waist from shrinking... Then after they've stretched, a second soak... Can I expect:

• 1" stretch in the waist (assuming so)?..
• a max of 1" shrinkage lengthwise?.. I'd like to get them hemmed before soaking them... G: if I remember correctly you always add 1" to your usual length for raw jeans pre-soak (cause I know you hem before soaking)?..
