Random Rants

FYI - Japan had gone through the painful process modernization/manufacturing decades (and I mean decades) ago. When it first started, many of the goods were of dubious quality. Over the years, it became very good in making things. China is going through the process and catching up (albeit very slowly). If and when quality is there, it is a nation to be reckoned with.

Would like to add that to be made in USA only 70% has to be made here. Also don't forget the US has territories that are technically part of the country but have more relaxed laws regarding labor. As with any kind of product the best shit comes from small outfits, not huge companies with more interest in stocks and shareholders than making a quality product. Doesn't matter which country it comes from. To me, people are people. And quality is quality.

Feckin' dog… ate my Chippewa boots, or the tongue of one...Dunno which fecker of the three of them it was...
Watch this space for freshly made dog-fur mittens...
you're lucky. the dog that chewed on my bandana is one feckin' fierce dog. my mate got bitten by him before. 2 deep punctures and a handful of blood. thats why i had to use food and stuffs to lure that bastard away before i could get back my bandana.

@volcano:
just got my package from G and those bandanas are fantastic! took the green one out to use and less than a day, my mate's dog went to chew it when i left it on the table with my wallets. thank God there's no holes or tear.
now i just need to have em' washed. :-\
where's the rant mate?…looks like everything is good
haha though no damage was done, i still hate the fact that the bandana was inside the fecking dog's mouth for a period of time. it was all drench with that mutt's saliva when i got back my bandana.

Brooklyn used to be really cool and understated, but in the last five years or so, has been really commercialized. A lot of locals have been turned off by the flashing lights that have invaded their space
Monday is not the only one. I have a dozen people on Facebook voicing their dissatisfaction with what Brooklyn has become every day

Lettings agents and property managers…
Words fail me sometimes... Like the times when they try to charge me £5 per lightbulb (x5) for fitting and 'testing' costs and aim to deduct this from my deposit. This is despite them failing to make good a bedroom window that didn't close properly for two years. teeth grinding

well what to say…
yesterday i bet on seven games in the soccer champions league. six of´em were correct after 90minutes and i only needed one fekking goal from AC Mailand...just one fekking goal, was all i asked for
could have made 420€ out of 3€ if them douchebags from Mailand would have goaled a fekkin single time...damn, shouldn´t be too much to ask for eh!? -
i said fuck it and gonna try my luck again today…so let's wait and see
i realised its easier to bet the english premier league than the champions league. lose SGD200 last night on man city, arsenal and real madrid.
holding back my money and waiting for this weekend's premier EPL games. they are easier to play. at least thats for me.

Got back to Madrid afternoon from NYC on Monday and I just found out that I have to go to DC on Sunday for a couple of days. I'll just be over the jet lag when I get back on the fucking plane. At least they have predicted the worst storm since the Perfect Storm will begin on Sunday on the East Coast for the entire time I am there. I'm sure that won't affect my travel plans. There is no way this ends well.

Sorry to hear that Rich, not as sorry as if it were me doing it, but sorry none the less.

That's because you're still in a New York state of mind.
