After looking at the measurements of the 814s, I'm tempted to get a pair chopped. Compared to the 811 (waist 36), they have 0.2 inches more room in the thigh and 0.5 inches in the knee. Perfect for chopping…..

I chopped my wabash pants and I sized up. TTS would look like skinny shorts IMO, unless thats the look you're going for

i meant im thinking of chopping my 634S but i bought them TTS cos i wanted to wear them as jeans initially. so my question is, when you guys chop your 634S, do you guys go TTS or size up? sorry if my question wasn't clear..

nah im not looking for skinny shorts. so i guess i gotta swap my W33 for a W34 i guess. but i don't know if that would make any difference.  :-\

You have to gauge how much difference there is in the thigh and knee depending where you chop em. I sized down on my herringbone shorts and I love the way they look.
