Finally manage to cancel my Alpha Industries M-65 Olive Green Field Jacket order which I realised was Made in China. (some guy posted online where its manufactured in) For something that's Made in China that cost USD200, I'd rather top up more and get IH's Made in Japan ones.
Now G, do some magic and let the IH M-65 go on sale quick.

Dunno where older Alpha Ind. M-65's were made, but they are topnotch garment. At least older ones were made by milspec, if my memory serves me right….might be same with new ones too...
just saying...
i read the reviews and saw a few complaining about the newer ones. some complaint of buttons for the liner falling off after a wash. and some mentioned it was thinner and didn't felt like it was tough enough for rough use. yes the older ones were fantastic as many mentioned in their reviews but somehow the newer ones which are Made in China (a review mentioned this) and the quality have dropped drastically.
after reading all these reviews, i guess better safe than sorry. so its Iron Heart's M-65 for me.

I'm sure you made the right choice, volcano… There's a big discrepancy in price tag, but at least you'll be able to abuse the IH one properly...
agreed mate. and the IH M-65 can't come out any better cos im flying to London and Paris next month so this jacket is gonna come in handy!

anyway, just thought i'd publicly apologise to everyone in the forum for my irritating or stupid posts that have offended or pissed anyone off in the past. i know i've messed up many times like recently on the IHSH-70 thread.
my sincere apology to all of you guys. im sorry for my actions and etc. this is a great forum and im here to make friends and not enemies.

Just wear every single item of clothing you have.
A couple of months ago I witnessed a very interesting situation where a consortium of Mongolian women were smuggling clothing from China to Russia on the train. They were wearing a rediculous amount of clothing, trying to act as if that was what they'd normally wear. I'm pretty sure the Russian border guards knew what was going on, but let it pass - perhaps in recognition of the lengths these women were willing to go to (or perhaps because of bribery).
