Just had a message about an item I have for sale on EBay. The gist was:
"I am interested in this item but no one will pay the price you've listed it for. I will offer 1/3 of the price".
So… I tell them (politely) what they can do with their "offer".
Just had a bid :))
Perhaps you could have offered them 1/3 of the item, and mailed it 1/3 of the distance to them?

Got a watch off ebay. Got a package from the seller today. No watch, instead there was a pair of Alden Chukkas…
Too bad they're not my size and I dislike chukkkas...

Dude, you gotta be careful on campus, those dudes are harsh. Parking enforcement, especially. They will ruin you.
(I know that intersection; shame on you for running a stop sign.:) )

Yeah. I was in a DGAF mood. I slowed down and looked, not like i just blew it and killed a baby or something. I didn't realize you couldn't hold on to cars. It makes perfect sense, definitely isn't a safe thing to do. Neither is riding a bicycle though. I just hope it's cheap ::)

Apparently taking 5 jackets for a 5 day break is overkill
-
It's nowhere near cold enough for the deck coat, so I'm going with the IHW-01 and the IHJ-07…..I also have my SB vest, and the IHS-19 for variety

You're probably gonna sweat your ass off until like 10-11pm every night with a jacket on. Just remember, you'll be walking around A LOT. No need for a winter jacket yet. It will be an average high of 18C and a low of 9C(probably not until like 3-4am) while you're here. :-\
-
Fair point Urb, I'll dump the IHW-01 in favour of another shirt

I think the other thing is not being sure of dress codes in other countries, I know that even around here there are certain bars that I would get chased out of with flaming torches and a pitch fork for wearing a flannel or denim shirt…..so......awww fuck it, I'm a foreigner and know no better.
-
Any bar where you can't wear a flannel shirt probably isn't worth drinking in.

@Sugar:

Exactly

damn Gav i guess you´re thinking about it way too much…you´re from the UK, not from the US so even when you doing perfect on tipping and dressing right for every drink and location, the US boys still know you´re a some sort of a tourist and you can´t do everything right...
so just do what ever it takes to have fun and don´t think about "dresscodes" or "US-habits" so god damn much -
Ok, time to be an ignorant foreigner

I wear exactly what I always wear and if I don't get in I don't give a flying feck….If I get looked at because I'm weird, well feck that too....

P, I could never imagine you being ignorant, G on the other hand…...
Don't worry, me and Pam work the same way, she's charming, witty, pleasant and friendly. I'm somewhat less so....
