West 51st is just where the theatre is that I have to pick up my boy and wife from.

You can take the F train uptown to W4th St
Transfer to the uptown E or C train
Get off at 50th st

$10-15 - Take a cab ride - 15-25mins(depending on traffic)

Me, at the very least…

The subway is the way to go if you want super cheap, but after about 10pm traffic clears up a bit and taking a taxi up to midtown west won't cost you as much as you think it would.

Unless you're staying in Times Sq and your cab gets stuck on a street right after a show lets people out…then you're kinda screwed
