We've finalized a friday night plan!
It's a new bar called Hair of The Dog and it's directly across the street from SENY, it just opened three days ago so we can't vouch for them but they've got alcohol, food, and lots of TVs for those wanting to watch any possible sport you can imagine.

Like I said, I'll be there for a while…..just got to figure how long it will take me to get from there to West 51st Street, and by cab or subway.

I'm at Yotel for almost two weeks which is at 42nd and 10th, very close to West 51st. -

Edit: Whats your recommendation for getting back uptown around 10pm on a Friday night Kiya?
West 51st is just where the theatre is that I have to pick up my boy and wife from.

You can take the F train uptown to W4th St
Transfer to the uptown E or C train
Get off at 50th st$10-15 - Take a cab ride - 15-25mins(depending on traffic)

Yep, so now she is perfectly sure that the New York subway system becomes filled with gangs of knife wielding maniacs after dark, didn't make her feel better by saying "gangs might be taking it too far, just the odd one or two"

Me, at the very least…

The subway is the way to go if you want super cheap, but after about 10pm traffic clears up a bit and taking a taxi up to midtown west won't cost you as much as you think it would.
