Hey everybody! New to the forum and just starting to get my feet wet, but I thought i'd share my denim thats been with me for quite some time now. My good'ol trusty Imperial SEXI08. Very comfortable jeans yet I heard this was not a popular collab with other people. Eh. I Also have a pair of the SExRJBxFH that i've been wearing lately, but I definitely want to get some IH gear.. hopefully soon!

My only problem with Imperial is that I cannot overcome my strong dislike of the back pocket stitching. But yours could seriously tempt me anyhow…

Thanks 501 haha but no i don't skate in these jeans. Just lots of wearing for like 3 years. Yea the stitching was at least bare able  and not loud like the yellow stitching ones.

Totally agree. In fact, I've never heard of anyone who actually likes the pocket stitching.

I've also found Imperial denim feels funny. Having worn Levis, APC, 5EP, PBJ, SugarCane, IH etc, Imperial has always just felt odd to me.

Interesting point. I haven't had the experience with Imperial, but the "feel" of denim has always been a central point of my love for the fabric, and how a pair of jeans feel, the "tactile experience" is the deciding point whether or not there's true fondness for my jeans or not.

Joe, once you got one, let me/us know about the quality and how the denim feels…

Been toying with the idea. Still undecided whether I'm a denim vest guy or not. My style has changed a lot in few years and I really don't use so much clothes that shout out loud biker....

I like this too, but I've learnt to be careful with this kind of stuff or you can end up looking like a wannabe. That said, I reckon JSJ can pull it off.

That pic really takes it to the "wannabe" & "loud biker" extreme with the 1%er looking patches and leather underneath. I've never been a fan of the leather vest look, but the denim one has a real throw back quality IMO. I'm always a bit skeptical about vests too, because I don't want to look like this:

don't have to be a lumberjack to wear'em, right?… if you feel like wearing a denim or even leather vest, wear it. if not then not! simple as that and everything else is bs imo!...
