Seriously - how many people have gotten themselves lost because of the Map app? It needs work, but really, who cares?

Rather they spend the time fixing the Podcast app anyway. That thing's been crap since day 1.

Continuing with the theme of apple maps, this article (http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/24/apples-smart-maps-maneuver/) makes some interesting points.  While it is currently a huge step down from Google Maps, having their own mapping app puts Apple in a better place competitively…

UPS man arrived just after 7pm with my iPhone 5.  I asked if he was going home soon.  He said he had 3 more iPhone's to deliver, "should be home around 9".  Can't imagine the amount of these that went out today.

Lots of new stuff announced!

The new form factor of the iMac looks good and the rMBP 13" is making me consider trading in my 2012 15" MBP. Still not sure on the iPad Mini though, seems as though you could just have an iPhone/iTouch or a normal iPad…..no Retina display either.
