WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
On the way to Silverstone for the weekend. A friend (brother of Ben, I went fishing in the Bahamas with):
http://www.britishgt.com/driverinfo.php?drivername=James+May
is racing in the GT Championship.
Me and Paula are going to be Pit Bitches.
I have updated the "F1" thread in the Sport board to "Motorsport" - I will be posting there…..
-
Good luck to him; here's hoping he doesn't live up to the nickname of that other James May- Captain Slow.;)

-
You know I'd never wear TieDye!
-
-
this wasn't today. but last week, my friend just sent this pic to me (I might do a bit of ps work on the white bit!)
bbq in my garden, pulled pork (smoked with chips from my apple and cherry trees) , beer butt chicken and hot dogs, plenty of drink, herbs and just a few very close friends, was a lovely day
I'm in the pic twice
-
We've been doing it for around a year now, and it's actually not too bad. In the pic it does look like a giant barrel of piss, but the colour lightens up as the fermentation finishes.
I'd love to do a bottle exchange man, but shipping home made wine transatlantic might be a problem….I'll do some research.
I'll be taking a few bottles of home brew to G&P's later in the month, so I'll let them give their review.....if they survive
-
Shipping wine transatlantic is only a problem if we get caught. Label the box "aromatic oils" and we'll be fine. Worst case scenario, it'll get confiscated and drank by some poor sod in customs.
-
Ha, true. I'll get back to you later in the week when I've done some "quality control" on the new batch.
-
-
Let me get back to you on this man, trust me. Some batches aren't as good as others, and this one won't be ready until the back end of the week.
I don't want to take a bottle from you, and not be able to reciprocate
-
Totally understand. I'm mainly a brew head. This is my first batch of Vino and I'm like a proud Papa because I'm shocked at how much I like this wine. It's weirdly drinkable (I put down a bottle today). It took me a handful of brews to get one that was tasty, and they're still hit and miss.
-
Sorry to interject, but beer and Yahtzee are two of my favourite things!
-
I'll get back to you on this via PM JSJ
