These are somewhat bigger then the previous 301s.

Also, surprised folks find the visible selvedge line so important for a jean with this much taper.  I find 301s aren't really designed to cuff.

Stacks looks good with sneakers… Dont work quite well on a boots... I will get this... Really in love with sbg characters... Wondering why its not selling well compare to normal 21oz denim...more people choose denim blue than denim black i guess.. The selvedge side seams are just for showing, not really important as long as you know the fabric are selvedge, that are good enough

              Hey all,

I'd like to clarify something about side seam selvedge.  The reason the 666, Beatle Buster, etc.. have side seam selvedge is because the outer leg is straight.  From the hip to the end of the leg it's literally a straight line.  To achieve the exact slim cut we wanted with the 301s we had to taper the leg from the inner and outer seam, hence the non showing selvedge.  The selvedge edge obviously runs in a straight line so unless the jean's outer leg is cut completely straight there's no way to show the selvedge edge.  Same reason why you can't have a true bootcut jean with a selvedge edge showing all the way up the leg.

The initial try on in store took about a minute of walking around for me to button them all the way up.
I think Thomas measured the waist in store and it was about 35.5ish
So, after my second try on(have been worn for about 5mins total) the measurements are:

                          Tag size 34

                          W: 18in

                          In: 33.5in

now this is what i´m talking about, though the thigh measurement sounds a bit huge with 13.2"…so sizing down should actually be an option for some, since i also think that they will stretch a bit more with more wear!

My measurements are about 0.1-0.3in different from SE overall measurements. Not too crazy. That's taking into account the different sizing methods as well.

                                Here's the thigh

well i already own a pair of 666Sod and a pair of indigo 634s-raw, so maybe it´s time for some duck or the indigo 301s this time…need to make up my mind about when it´s time to decide!...

Looking good Shane.  I have the BB SBGs and I love the denim (hard and bullet-proof on the outside and super soft on the inside).  I just need a higher rise to accomodate the external body parts otherwise the measurements on these would be perfect.
