Mega, you rep this coat great.  I will have to try and save for the next version.  You sold me on it.

Out with the new! In with the old!

Hoping it will be cold enough in NYC in October to break out this big gun.

I want this thing really bad but I know I'd never wear it, not cold enough

Might not be Mega, this has been the hottest July on record in the US so if the trend continues, it won't be

Is anyone in addition to Finn and Megatron willing to share pics of this?

How will the wax coating of the new model affect cleaning it?  Will the wax wear away after a period of time and if so would it have to be reapplied proferrionally?

it´s a jacket buddy and tbh. i never had to clean any of my jackets, the IHM-01 included! so i´m not a big help i fear. can´t wait to wear this beast again though…  🙂

and btw. that isn´t me in my last post above, just a pic i´ve found in the www 😛

Double edged sword, does not stain so easily, but harder to clean.  The coating will become less effective with time.  It can be reapplied easily if you (well I know you don't, but you know what I mean  😃 😃 ) have a hair dryer.  There are vids of people showing how it is done on the web.  Alex1976 posted one from memory….

The spray coat which I added last winter hasn't marked the jacket at all, and i just sprayed a little water on and the coating seems to be working still…..which is kinda amazing considering the jacket has been in my closet for about 6 months  😃

I waxed a MF Deck with two cans of Barbour wax.  It's a pretty painless, slightly messy process.  But all in all, worth the time and effort, methinks. If anyone would wants any tips, feel free to PM me.. Happy to share whatever experience I can.  But as Giles says, there's a vid online.. It's a pretty straightforward process.

I've waxed a couple of things (jackets, shoes, children) just to see how tough it is.  Pretty easy, really.  If you have a heat gun, that works better than a hair dryer, just as a quick tip.:)

And before any of you smartasses comment about how I obviously would have no hair dryer, I have access to a couple, since the wife and kids use them.  So there. 😛
