The only thing is that if you have a case or a screen protector, won't fit right

Tim Cook of Apple hints at a deeper connection with Facebook in the future. He also stated that Siri would be seeing some improvements.

Can't wait for a new iPhone to come out and to get my hands on that new Retina Macbook Pro.
Redneck iPhone Case

Yeah the new MBP looks really nice although i'm keen to see what the iMac update is going to bring before splashing out.

Just been playing with the new MacBook Pro at the Apple Store - very cool. A think upgrading my first generation iPad is number one on my shopping list though.

I really dislike how Apple is perceived as the only bad guy in these Chinese labor issues. Microsoft uses Foxconn to make the xbox right in Shenzhen. I've heard they also do the kindle and ps3. Scrutinize their supply chains and it'll be the same as Apple. It's a problem that goes beyond Apple.
On a lighter and slightly fanboyish note, I'm typing this on my new macbook pro with retina display. I'm still getting used to it, but it's pretty sweet.

Only have the random losses of connection on wifi …

Mine seems fine, but I only got it a week ago. It does get ever so slightly warm at the bottom though, unlike the first generation. Much better all in all though!
-
Yeah, you cannot beat retina display imo …

maybe a shitty question, but i still need to try my luck
so i want to update the software on my Iphone 4…it´s the first time i´m doing it and since i don´t want to lose all the things saved on it, i´ve already saved a backup of the actual "status" with itunes...already saved the apps as well!
now i want to save the pics and vids on it...should i do this with itunes or the "normal" way with copy&paste?...can´t find the right buttons in itunes, to sync. the pics from the iphone to my desktop!
-
You could just use iPhoto, even if you don't actually use iPhoto. Your phone will mount in the same way it does in iTunes so you can just bung 'em all in an album and access the source files via Finder.
-
Just to add to Winchy's advice…..even simpler would be to use Image Capture -(in applications)(presuming you are on a Mac).
-
not owning a mac…well not yet, so i just went the copy&paste way.
i had stored like ~4700pics and videos on my iphone, so i had to wait a bitnow i´ve just updated the new software and after going through the iphone settings, it´s just recreating the backup version (2hours to go!)...
i thought, after installing the new software, that i just could go ahead and sync. all the stuff (apps, pics, vids, contacts) which i have saved in itunes into the iphone and that´s it...unfortunately not! :-\
