Or you could let them dry and then brush the dirt off. I had a similar experience moving a dead, sat out in the elements for 10 years motorcycle the other day.

Soaked with sweat and filthy. Brushed off fine once dry.

Sal, I want to thank you.  I've been mulling the notion of purchasing a pair of 14.5 oz Cone Denim Tellason jeans from a local shop but your 21 oz pics have reminded me why this would be a mistake.  I'll put the dough towards a legit Marlon Brando style motorcycle jacket a la The Wild One.

There is an alternative: next time, instead of washing them, you can put your jeans in the freezer for a few hours. Low temperatures will kill most bacteria better then wash! It's an old denim-heads' trick, but it works!

You put your hands to freezer after hard work in garden…? to kill the bacteria, but keep the dirt? 😉

C'mon you guys, they're just jeans...

I find it still funny that people believe freezing will kill bacteria. Do you know how laboratories interchanges bacteria? They freeze them and send them over in frozen state. It's true you kill some bacteria by freezing but just a few and the rest will be as happy as before when the temperature rises again. But do as you like 😉
