Is it difficult to remove the embroidery?

No, but Haraki and I are not 100% sure that the fabric will not show some scarring.  It is exactly the same stitching as was used on the CPO jacket and that could be removed no problem, buy the underlying fabric was a thick wool and therefore more forgiving…..

would have been better "looking" though, if the pocket-flap would have been sewn on a tiny bit higher,so the bartack wouldn't be visible!...that's just bitchin on the highest level possible though

It has to be done like that as the stitching on the pocket flap stops at the bar tack, that is so there is a hole for the pen to go through…
