Alternatively, you could move to England :). 13 degrees here at the moment.

What: and pay 5 quid for a decent beer?.. No fanx!..

since i´ve never saw such kinda rips after only just one month of wear i´d suggest you to stop using that sandpaper too often mate! 😉

I live and I learn I guess..I sprayed starch on the creases and the denim got super dry about 2 weeks ago.  I am mad I did that because I know those tiny holes that are deep inside the smaller creases will become a problem later

Yes I know crazy..I wasnt liking how the creases were looking so big.  The jeans looked like they belonged on a clown around the knees and ankles.  I thought by wetting them it would allow the creases to fall and settle more precise which it did.  So at first i said wow they look better.  I quickly noticed how dry and brittle the denim became.  They also started fading really quick at those points again making me say this is good shit.  Now that I know it was premature excitement and eventually it probably knocked of some life…Needless to say I will never starch another thing I own

Sal mate don't speed up things imho its not worth it man, the jeans however will survive without problem just dont treat them any further with any other stuff than your natural behaviour in them 😉 but to each his own and how you like it man 🙂 no problem.

                Cheers,

                      Yo DD,

The only pair of jeans that that ever happened to me with were my KMWs. It Certainly took a lot longer than a month. I do have a bit of fraying on one of my whiskers though. The Stiffness of the 25oz denim probably adds to it though. I think theres a fine line between "Not being afraid to get my jeans dirty" and "doing everything possible to get dirty jeans and sick fadez." It doesn't matter how the jeans look in the end as long as they tell a story.

Sal, go easy on those new 301s… You don't want jeans showing up at your house feeling like "escorts" do when they get to Dubai.

Thanks for all the great words guys..Greatly appreciated.  I will soak them this week for sure and keep at em.  As for my new 301's those will be pampered a lil more because i like the feel and look of the denim so much.  I will use my 301's for just casual wear with no strenuous activity.  I got out of hand with wanting to do so much in my 666's that it wasnt true to how I would normally wear my denim.  Guess u crazy fekks motivated me to want more for them.  I am pretty stoked at how my 25oz 666 are turning out so something good has come with all my overreacting

So I've been wearing these about three times a week since the beginning of the year, enough time to eliminate most of the weird stiffness. They opened up a raw spot in the small of my back at first, but didn't cause much discomfort otherwise. I was cuffing them, but stopped after I noticed a hole opening up after not even wearing them that many times. It's interesting to note that the length on these is 38.5", an inch longer than they're "supposed" to be.

These are 38s and I'd sort of suspected that I went a size too large. Seeing the pics doesn't do much to dissuade that notion. Size 36s are usually too small for me, so I'm used to buying a 38 and belting it a bit. Now it seems like the true 37" of the size 36 might have stretched out to the ideal measurement. As you can see in the rear picture, there's a bit of slack in the waistband and the legs don't look as slim as I would have liked. Any opinions?

I think you could get away with sizing down, but be prepared for even more pain if you do go that route…..

The thigh area looks a little loose. Maybe that's fine to others but I prefer the jeans to have just a little slack on the thighs. 🙂
