i have learnt to accept the fact that arsenal will not even smell a silverware for at least another 2 seasons. our squad just don't have a deep and reliable backups in the event of an injury.

Arsenal really need to splash out the cash… Definitely need a midfield enforcer and a better winger. Don't quite like Gervinho... Looking forward to watching Poldoski play.
yes definitely. looking at our squad now, i can't see a strong midfield enforcer. alex song is good but he doesn't have the presence like viera and keane. someone in the mould of mascherano, yaya toure and maroune fellaini (pardon my wrong spelling of his name) would surely fit the bill. not forgetting a better winger! gervinho is a joke!
the only joy i have lately is the signing of podolski but my heart is worrying for the departure of RVP. without quality signings, who would stay?! it seems like the curse of our captains is true!
first viera then henry and aftermath fabregas. now, RVP?! they leave after being named captain!!

congrats to all city fans! it was like a miracle comeback. at 90mins it was still 1-2 and suddenly, it became 3-2. FANTASTIC! having a wonderful blue morning today.

I would honestly be surprised if he got it, Roman will want a higher profile (rumours of Guardiola this morning), but he will be well rewarded for last night, and his CV now says "Champions League Winner" on it.

I honestly can't see guardiorla going to chelsea. the players in chelsea aren't the crop of guys that can play the football that guardiola wants.
only a few could. and furthermore, I don't think he would wanna risk having his barca fans and etc hating him. though barca didn't win any this season, he is still their hero IMHO.

guardiola for me is one of the best (if not the best!) coaches of the world. great guy, great personality and he damn knows how to teach "soccer" to a bunch of superstars!…

Maximum respect in every aspect to Drogba. Great guy, with such a will to at last win the European Cup. The guy did it all, even getting a penalty kick against him at the 85th!!! To think he's out of Chelsea.
Probably going to to 2-3 years for a zillion in Dubai or China or the USA. But whatever he does, we all know his career ended with that penalty kick that lanced Chelsea the title, the rest is amateur soccer with a huge paycheck…

Anyway, football is ridiculously overhyped, even though some games are worth watching every year -
Drogba is going to China for £250k / week tax paid - that's why he's not staying at Chelsea.
He said he would love to stay, even if it was just to mow the pitch - bollocks.with that kinda money, who wouldn't be tempted?! to think you are at the ends of your career (strikers usually go on a decline after 32 imho) and get so much more money than what you actually take at chelsea… LOL!
