Eyeglasses / Sunglasses Discussion

if they didn't have the brnd name going down the side i would be a fan of frogskins as well. only stuff from the 80s & 90s that i love with the brnd name all over are classic polo ralph lauren pieces.

Look good Seul. The glass of white wine is fitting with the case.

i think i need me some new eyewear…after i´ve fucked up my moscot lemtosh during sunday nights party
any recommendations?...
would love to go for a pair of dita´s...but i´m still a broke student, so the dita´s have to wait! :-\
I'll just go ahead and make this easy for you.
The original
http://www.shuron.com/ronsir_zyl.htmMade in USA
Super solid and cheap. And get the clip on sunglasses as well.

Shurons are def nice, but for me the lens is too big. If you can live with lens that big, go for it. (big lenses to me = 80's, no good
)
Check Na Und?, 53F811, Design by Marion Ramm, made in Germany. About same price range as Shurons
Link to a german retailer earlier in this thread
even better price than first link

Oh dang, can't believe I missed that. The size is what concerns me the most, but I think I like them on the bigger side just for something different. I like the way they fit you, for sure.
I can't find them anywhere online at a retailer so I'm currently looking at eBay. Hopefully I can find something good.
Thanks Simon.

Those Persol McQueen editions are cool for obvious reasons but i would definitely not order a pair online, they look good on about 1% of people that try them on. It's a unique shape and only works for some people.
If you can spring for Dita you should do it, the quality is amazing on their frames, both Giles and i now have multiple pairs which we love. -

I actually called around and found a place semi-local that has a pair of the McQueens. I'll go have a look.
As far as I know, no one local sells Dita, which blows. I tried on a pair when I was in La Jolla last summer. I liked them, but I'd like to see more.
I may go for a non-McQueen Persol. I like the tortoise frames they have and they're different from all my other pairs.
