BIG game in the Premier League tonight, possibly the title decider between local rivals Manchester United and Manchester City. I'm not arsed either way who wins, so long as we get some good football

To be honest, if I had to pick I would go with United. They've played good football over the years, Fergie has mellowed a bit, and City have gone out to buy the title, not to mention Mancini is so dour, like an Italian Kenny Dalglish.

I was a West Ham fan as a kid coz it was my local team and my dad used to take me to Upton Park but my late grandad had given me an early 70's United greats annual featuring the Busby Babes and the wonderful pheonix rising late sixties squad, so they were always my second team and became more important when we moved out of London.
Er, and are now more than ever what with the Alerdyce and Sullivan scumbags devils alliance takeover…. I absolutely revere Fergie's genius as a team builder, not to mention his disdain for the media and his steelworker- bred lifelong socialism (ok, rare vintage red wine socialism, these days).

Manchester Derby was a damp squib unlike the Old Firm game on the sunday. Now just hoping the Derby della Madonnina turns out to be a cracker.

Chelsea were disappointing. They look like their hearts were elsewhere. Probably the FA Cup and Champions League. Always thought stamford bridge was a fortress but I was wrong.

i have learnt to accept the fact that arsenal will not even smell a silverware for at least another 2 seasons. our squad just don't have a deep and reliable backups in the event of an injury.
