Stupid question guys, but I was wondering…do any of you guys alter your fades in any way? Not necessarily cheating, but do you guys keep zippos in the coin pocket, or anything else for that matter, just to get a fade? Or any other pockets?
personally, no…I believe that is quite uncommon amongst us here at IH board. Maybe somewhere else....

I bought a leatherman pocketsize, thought I could use it and if it being clipped in my pocket causes a fade well then..
But stuff like the obvious "fake" ring in the back pocket is pretty silly, but if your a smoker and you buy a zippo and put it in your coin pocket and use it, I think that's legit. Personally I quit June 2007, didn't really feel like dying early

Yeah, I was just wondering. I personally don't do it either. I'd rather have my fades come naturally with whatever I have in my pockets that just happen to fall in there haha.

Thank God no one on this board carries brass knuckles in their back pocket for the fade outline. Korniest shite ever.

the fades that come with wearing a zippo, knife, wallet, coins, etc. in your jeans is not cuz we like'em to come, instead they are there cuz we carry and mostly USE such things during our daily activities (smoking, etc.)…
well said finn! i think that's the only way to truly get fades according to you. i have a zippo because i smoke, but it only goes into my coin pocket when i feel like it. my wallet always goes in my jeans cause i feel naked without it
