you won't believe it IJ but today I was wearing quadruple cuffs for te first time. thought I should give it a try since the lower leg of the jeans always looks a bit big/wide when I double cuff. normally it's double cuff (check all my other waywt pics)…thanks for the advice though mate!

Go about this the way I did: double (or quadripple in your case  😞 ) cuff first, then single cuff, then bring on the stacks!.. They'll settle… Just takes a while...

All a matter of how you prefer it, of course... I love my chaotic looking bastards (XHS)... Won't lift a quarter of an inch when I squat/ bend over; lovely...

I love that higher cuffed look.  Shows off the boots.
Changing your cuffs for different styles as you please makes cuffing awesome 🙂

What is the reason most people cuff, For people who do,is it the look of it or to show off the selvedge seam? I personally don't like the look And always go uncuffed..but a lot do and I totally respect that, different strokes. Posting here cause I was thinking about it looking at everyone's cuffs

I have different jeans at different lengths. Some are single cuffed, some are double cuffed, and some are stacked. Variety is the spice of life they say. Oh and repairs can be needed just as quickly on a pair that is stacked. Just depends on how you wear them.

Dictated by the cut of the jeans, and the footwear worn with them for me, there is a thread on this very subject I believe.

Depends on my mood when I first get the jeans, but mostly straight fit is hemmed or cuffed, slightly tapered is stacked

I only have one pair of boot cut and they're hemmed to the right length for me, and I don't do anything more than slightly tapered

I know violence is not the answer, I got it wrong on purpose

Of course it is personal taste, I'm not arguing, do as you like, no one cares right?  Point is people we are wearing vintage styled clothing made on old vintage machines using traditional methods, following traditional cuts and stitching, why, because it works and we dig that.  And ALL jeans traditionally were worn with cuffs (some say so cowboys later bikers could put their ciggies in the cuff within reach while on horseback/bike) and they would only ever have one turn up so you can see the union stitching and of course the selvage colour, Levis had red, Lee blue and Wrangler green, we IH red.  Turn-ups went through mods, hippies, sharpies, californian skaters, skins, punks, new wave.  Outlaws, bad guys, the common man all wore denim and they ALL wore them turned up.  Wear yours turned down and blend in, you will for sure.  Wear them turned up and instantly stand apart and feel what denim and all that history feels like and what it stands for.  Peace.

I never cuff and don't really like the look, but this just made me think twice, haha
