question for those who own them, will the Maine Guides stretch in width much?
I got an easy inch in length so plenty of room for toes, just tight for the ball of my foot.

I would say it depends on the leather/ material you get them in as some are very stiff and other are not. However, the Maine Guide (like most mocs) is more of a wider shoe than a narrow one. I have a narrow foot but don't find it to be a problem with mine. Hope I helped answer your question.

i like these boots better now with some wear, i wasn't a fan when i 1st saw them. . . .something about the front reminds me of a pair of stan smiths. ..which i love on stan smiths, just not on a boot.

& you getting in trouble for having those dirty boots on the bed

The first one has 5 Eyelets (DB) and the second has 4. They are both Horween CXL, but the second is Waxed Leather.
